“The University of Fun … a brilliant way to get children inspired” The Sunday Times
Norfolk Children’s University is a programme that aims to raise attainment, promote social mobility and be a ‘sat-nav’ to better places in life. It is a unique way for your school to encourage pupils to participate in learning outside of the school day and to get the most of clubs you already provide. The programme is designed to promote activities that will help them become more confident and independent learners and transfer this joy of learning into the classroom.
Open to children aged 4 -14, the Children’s University supports young people to try new experiences, discover unknown talents and acquire new skills. Students can take control of their learning by using a ‘Passport to Learning’ to record their individual journey and seek activities they enjoy.
Although open to all, the Children’s University aims particularly to reach children facing education and socio-economic disadvantage by directing them to a wide range of opportunities to enrich their learning
